Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of Monthly, a product of AdSnap LLC. By creating an account or using Monthly, you agree to these terms. Please read them — they're written in plain language because that's how we'd want to be treated.

1. The Service

Monthly is a social media planning and scheduling platform. We provide tools for creating content ideas, scheduling posts to connected social media accounts, managing workflows, and tracking publishing activity. The service is available at app.monthly.so.

2. Your Account

You must be at least 13 years old to use Monthly. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement.

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, contact us immediately at hello@freeloader.co. We are not liable for losses resulting from unauthorized account access caused by your failure to keep credentials secure.

3. Acceptable Use

You may use Monthly to plan and publish your own content to social media platforms you have the right to post on. You agree not to:

• Use Monthly to post spam, misleading content, or content that violates the terms of any connected social platform
• Attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or disrupt the service or its infrastructure
• Use the service to harass, threaten, or harm others
• Create accounts for the purpose of circumventing plan limits or billing
• Resell or sublicense access to Monthly without written permission from AdSnap LLC
• Use automated scripts or bots to interact with Monthly outside of our official API (if offered)

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without refund.

4. Your Content

You own your content. Post drafts, ideas, projects, and any other content you create in Monthly belong to you. By using Monthly, you grant AdSnap LLC a limited license to store and process your content solely for the purpose of providing the service — including publishing your scheduled posts to connected platforms on your behalf.

We do not claim ownership of your content, use it in advertising, or share it with third parties outside of what's required to operate the service.

5. Connected Social Accounts

When you connect a social media account, you authorize Monthly to post content on your behalf at times you specify. You remain responsible for all content published through your connected accounts. Monthly is not liable for content you post, including any consequences arising from platform policy violations on connected services.

Third-party platform APIs (such as X/Twitter) may change their terms, pricing, or access at any time. We are not responsible for changes to third-party APIs that affect your ability to use connected features. API-based posting costs are factored into your plan — see our pricing page for details.

By using Monthly's YouTube integration, you also agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service.

6. Plans, Billing & Refunds

Monthly offers a free plan and paid plans billed monthly or annually. Paid plans are processed through Stripe. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.

• Annual plans are billed upfront for the full year
• Monthly plans are billed each month on your renewal date
• Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period
• Cancellations stop future charges; you retain access until the end of your paid period

We offer refunds within 7 days of a new subscription or annual renewal if you haven't made substantial use of the service. Contact us at hello@freeloader.co to request one. We handle refund requests case by case and want to be fair.

7. Plan Limits

Each plan has usage limits as described on our pricing page. If you exceed free plan limits, access to gated features will be restricted until you upgrade. We do not retroactively delete content if you downgrade — you retain access to your data, but may lose access to features not included in your current plan.

8. Affiliate Program

Monthly offers a referral affiliate program. Commissions are paid on active paid referrals for 12 months from the referral's first payment. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the affiliate program with 30 days notice. Fraudulent referrals (including self-referrals) will result in forfeiture of commissions and possible account termination.

9. Availability & Uptime

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance, third-party API outages, or unforeseen incidents may cause downtime. We are not liable for missed posts or losses resulting from service interruptions, including those caused by changes to third-party platform APIs.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days. We reserve the right to discontinue Monthly with 60 days notice to active subscribers.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AdSnap LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of Monthly, including but not limited to lost revenue, lost data, or missed publishing opportunities. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Virginia.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll notify you by email for significant changes. Continued use of Monthly after updated terms are posted constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
