Privacy Policy

Monthly is a product of AdSnap LLC. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we use and protect it. We don't sell your data. We never have and never will.

1. Who We Are

Monthly is operated by AdSnap LLC ("AdSnap," "we," "us," or "our"). Our service is available at monthly.so and the application at app.monthly.so. You can reach us at hello@monthly.so.

2. What We Collect

We collect information in two ways: what you give us directly, and what we collect automatically as you use the service.

Information you provide:

• Account details — your name and email address when you sign up
• Profile photo, if you choose to upload one
• Billing information — processed securely by Stripe; we never store your full card details
• Content you create — post drafts, ideas, projects, and scheduling data
• Connected social accounts — account identifiers, usernames, authorization tokens or other connection credentials, and the posts and analytics available through the permissions you grant

Information we collect automatically:

• Usage data — pages visited, features used, actions taken within the app
• Device and browser information
• IP address and general location (country/region level)
• Cookies and session tokens required to keep you logged in

3. How We Use Your Data

• To provide and operate the Monthly service
• To publish your approved or scheduled posts to connected social accounts on your behalf
• To display connected-account post history and available engagement metrics, and derive posting-time observations from those metrics
• To process payments and manage your subscription via Stripe
• To send transactional emails — receipts, password resets, important account notices
• To improve the product based on how it's being used
• To respond to support requests

We do not use your content (post drafts, ideas, or scheduled posts) to train AI models.

4. Social Account Connections

When you connect Facebook Pages, Instagram professional accounts, Threads, X, Bluesky, Discord, YouTube, TikTok or LinkedIn, Monthly stores the credentials and account identifiers needed for the features you enable. With your authorization, we publish approved or scheduled content, retrieve supported account post history, and collect available post analytics such as views, reach, reactions, comments, shares and saves. The metrics available depend on the platform and the permissions you grant. For supported platforms other than YouTube, we use observed engagement to create an engagement heat-map and posting-time observations when enough data is available. YouTube API metrics are shown per video and are excluded from combined engagement totals and posting-time recommendations.

For Facebook and Instagram, you choose the Pages and linked professional accounts to connect. For Threads, you authorize the specific Threads account. Monthly does not use these publishing and analytics permissions to read private messages or delete comments. You can remove a provider connection in Settings → Integrations → View integration → Disconnect. This removes its stored connection credentials, destinations and cached account analytics from Monthly; posts already published on the social platform remain there. Drafts and your authored publishing history remain part of your Monthly account until you delete them or request account deletion.

YouTube: Monthly uses YouTube API Services to identify your selected channel, display its video history and available video statistics and Analytics reports, and upload videos you explicitly approve with your chosen visibility and audience settings. Your use of this integration is also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy. You can revoke access in your Google Account permissions and disconnect in Monthly. Contact hello@monthly.so to request deletion of stored API data.

TikTok and LinkedIn: Monthly uses the account identity, content and analytics permitted by your authorization to provide connected-account publishing and reporting. TikTok posting uses your selected privacy and interaction settings; LinkedIn company Page features require approved company permissions.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. We share data only with the following service providers who help us operate Monthly:

• Stripe — payment processing
• Cloudflare — CDN, DNS and uploaded-media storage
• Railway — application hosting, background publishing workers and database hosting
• OpenAI — built-in AI features; the prompts and content you submit to these features may be processed through its API
• Connected platforms and external AI agents — content and data you choose to publish or share through an authorized connection

We may disclose data if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days. Some data may be retained longer where required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention.

YouTube API data has a separate lifecycle: Monthly refreshes retained channel and video API data within 30 days, or removes stale API data when it cannot be refreshed. When YouTube authorization is confirmed revoked, or you disconnect it in Monthly, we remove the stored YouTube credentials, API identity, cached history and analytics, provider links and upload-session data. User-authored content, source video files, drafts, schedules and Monthly delivery timestamps/statuses are preserved. You must reconnect and select the channel again before publishing.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Export your content and data
• Disconnect any connected social accounts at any time

How to request deletion, including Meta Platform Data

To remove Facebook, Instagram or Threads connection data, sign in at app.monthly.so, open Settings → Integrations, select the provider, choose View integration, then Disconnect. To delete your Monthly account and associated data, open Settings → Security and use the account-deletion control. It requires your current password and the confirmation word DELETE. End any active subscription and resolve shared workspace or project ownership first; contact us if you need help with either step.

You can also request deletion of your Monthly account or Meta Platform Data by emailing hello@monthly.so from your account email, with the subject “Monthly data deletion” and the connected account names you want removed. Do not include passwords or access tokens. We may verify that you own the account before carrying out the request. The retention period and exceptions in Section 6 apply. Removing data from Monthly does not delete posts already published on a social platform; manage those posts on that platform.

8. Cookies

We use cookies strictly for authentication (keeping you logged in) and for basic analytics. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though this will prevent you from staying logged in.

9. Children's Privacy

Monthly is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, notify you by email. Continued use of Monthly after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
